First of all, we want to thank everyone for being an important part of Winno. Your trust and support have meant the world to us. We’ve faced several challenges running this service and unfortunately we must shift our focus as a company to something new. Because of this, the service will be discontinued on October 31st and all active subscriptions will end.

What happens on October 31st?

All active subscriptions will be ended and any remaining time will be refunded back. If you have subscribers who paid for a full year upfront, this may result in a debit from your bank account since those funds have already been paid out. Stripe will handle this automatically.

Can I export my subscriber data?

Yes, please contact us at [email protected] by October 31st if you would like to export a list of your active subscribers. Emails will be available for paid subscribers only.

What other platforms offer a similar service?

Subtext (https://joinsubtext.com/) is a similar platform that allows for paid subscription communities through text messaging. They’re interested in helping any Winno users switch over so please reach out to David directly at [email protected] for more details.

Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/) has been around for a while and offers great monetization options. They just announced the launch of a new app, which includes a chat feature.

Braid (https://braid.ai/) is another text messaging platform for creators, but it looks like they don’t offer paid subscriptions yet. This may be a good option for users with free subscribers. You can email them directly at [email protected].

What if I have other questions?

Please reach out to [email protected] and we’re happy to help.
