Best Practices

Text is just the medium

Texting is the best delivery medium for content. Why do so many companies use it for advertising products - because they know you’ll open it no matter what it is. Take advantage of that. While it’s easy to just say “Hey, you can text me and I’ll text you.” What’s much more compelling is to offer a whole slew of different types of content that will be delivered via text. Take a few examples below:

Obviously, doing more than just basic texts requires a lot of work but if you want to truly grow your membership community, this is the way to do it.

Schedule, schedule, schedule

Creators get busy, very busy. To make up for that, it’s very important that you schedule out content in advance. Don’t leave your community quiet just because you had too many things going on. We recommend taking 30 mins to an hour every Sunday, write out on a sheet of paper all the content ideas you want to share, and schedule your life away. It’s so much less stressful

Pro tip: while scheduling is important, make sure you turn on notifs for replies so that you don’t leave subscribers hanging for too long.
